About the Artist
Zao One is an Orange County muralist whose colorful public work can be found throughout Southern California. Raised around the graffiti and skate culture of the Los Angeles area, he later studied art and worked alongside established artists before developing his own mural practice.
His projects range from civic installations and businesses to community spaces and private commissions. Across those settings, Zao One uses bold spray-painted imagery and an energetic palette to create murals designed to bring warmth, optimism and a strong sense of presence to the places they occupy.
